Estado de Impunidad
El caso Rosenberg despierta a Guatemala.En la mañana del domingo 10 de mayo de 2009, Rodrigo Rosenberg, un exitoso abogado guatemalteco, fue baleado tres veces en el rostro mientras montaba en bicicleta cerca de su apartamento en Ciudad de Guatemala. El asesinato se habría convertido en una estadística más —en un país asolado por la corrupción y la impunidad, donde los carteles de la droga mexicanos ejercen influencia cada vez mayor— de no haber sido por un video que Rosenberg grabó 3 días antes de su asesinato. En el video, distribuido después de su muerte, Rosenberg acusa desde su sepultura al presidente de Guatemala, Álvaro Colom, a la primera dama, Sandra Torres, al secretario privado del Presidente, Gustavo Alejos, y a Gregorio Valdés, una de las principales personas encargadas de recaudar fondos para la campaña del presidente Colom.
